Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, in collaboration with over 54 leading brands in the automotive industry, is organizing the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show under the theme "The Talk of Sensuous Automotive." This year’s event will feature a new highlight zone showcasing EV and internal combustion engine spare parts, following successful negotiations with manufacturers and distributors from China. The exhibition will be held from March 26 to April 6, 2025, at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 and Forum Hall 4, Muang Thong Thani.
Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, said,
"This year's Motor Show is held under the theme ‘The Talk of Sensuous Automotive’, which reflects the philosophy of automotive design that communicates emotions filled with power, desire, and inspiration. It speaks the language of automobiles to express creativity, development, and the experience of emotional aesthetics that hold great value."
Mr. Jaturont Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, stated,
"Currently, 54 automotive exhibitors from Europe and Asia have confirmed their participation in the event, including 41 car manufacturers and 13 motorcycle brands. The response from the exhibitors has been very positive. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome a new group of electric vehicle brands that are debuting in Thailand, such as ZEEKR, OMODA&JAECOO, CHERY, KINGGEN, JUNEYAO, RIDDARA, and GEELY, as well as in-car navigation technology from HUAWEI. Furthermore, the electric motorcycle brand YADEA will make its first appearance at the show. This year, we have seen an increase in exhibitors from China, with 14 more companies joining compared to last year."
"One of the highlights of this year's event is the launch of new car and motorcycle models, both internal combustion and electric vehicles, from various automotive manufacturers. Additionally, the company has prepared over 9,000 square meters of space in Forum Hall 4 specifically for automotive accessories exhibitions. This year, we have expanded our exhibitor base to include manufacturers and distributors of EV and internal combustion engine spare parts who are looking to expand their market in Thailand, recognizing the opportunities and potential of the Bangkok International Motor Show as an international-level automotive exhibition."
"As a result, we have collaborated with Nanjing Chuangji Exhibition from China to bring automotive parts and electric motorcycles from China for display. These products are being presented to Thai entrepreneurs interested in becoming distributors. This marks the first time that the Motor Show is directly targeting automotive entrepreneurs, creating a business connection and network among entrepreneurs. The exhibition will cover over 3,800 square meters within Forum Hall 4, from March 24 to 30, 2025. We are confident that attendees will find products that meet quality standards and competitive prices directly from the manufacturers."
Additionally, there will be an exhibition booth for USED CAR, showcasing luxury pre-owned vehicles. The event will also feature lifestyle and fashion products, spiritual items, competitive prize-winning activities, and a variety of entertaining experiences within the hall.
Another event that adds even more excitement to the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show is MU-NIVERSE, "Unveiling Thailand's Mu-Te-Lu Universe for the Next-Generation". This event gathers the mystical Mu-Te-Lu stories of Thailand in an easily accessible way, blending beliefs, art, technology, and lifestyle together. It will be held from April 2 to 6, 2025, at Forum Hall 4, where visitors can meet with Ajarn Lak Horathibodi and many renowned MU mystical guests.
Activities include fortune-telling, consultation on auspicious time and date for new car delivery, auspicious license plates, sacred amulets, and a chance to exchange information about MU mystical collectibles. Visitors will also receive exclusive lucky stickers only available at the Bangkok International Motor Show.
Mr. Anothai Eamlumnow, Chief Production Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, revealed,
"This year’s activities, in addition to the E-Racing experience that allows visitors to try virtual car racing through simulators, will also feature a collaboration with R.C.S. (Runbike Championship Series) from Japan to host the 'Grandprix Runbike Championship With R.C.S.' This event will include two pre-event races and is an important step in promoting youth sports in Thailand. Additionally, there will be booths showcasing products related to children, sports, and lifestyle, as well as activity zones for families."
Mr. Peeraphong Eamlumnow, Chief Executive Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, shared,
"In the past, our company, as the organizer, has continuously developed new service formats to enhance convenience for both participants and visitors, providing them with new experiences. "We have developed an LINE Official Account (Line OA) to enhance convenience for registration and also to provide an additional communication channel between our company and consumers. This platform will allow us to present new products and services in both the Auto and Lifestyle sectors, which we have developed to support the growth of our business."
"Additionally, we have developed the Fullloop program, which allows us to collect feedback from visitors in a more convenient and faster way. Visitors can fill out a short survey to evaluate the event, helping the organizers gather data instantly and analyze the results quickly. Collecting feedback from attendees is important, as this information will enable the organizers to improve various aspects of the event and better meet the needs of the visitors."
Nonetheless, it is expected that this year's event will generate more than a 10% increase in revenue compared to the previous year. As for the overall automotive industry this year, it is expected to remain stable due to the still-uncertain recovery of the domestic economy and the global economic instability. Also, financial institutions are tightening lending policies due to high household debt levels. Even so, it is anticipated that consumers will still have a demand for new and used cars.
For this year's event, the organizers have added an additional day for the press, known as Press Day, on March 24, 2025. The press will be able to access the event area starting at 07:30 hrs., with the first company presentation starting from 08:00 hrs. to 21:00 hrs. This press schedule is the resolution made in the meeting with participating brands. Media members who have not pre-registered can register at the Organizer’s Office starting at 07:00 hrs.
On March 25, 2025, the official opening ceremony of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show will take place from 09:00 hrs. to 10:00 hrs., followed by the VIP opening session from 10:00 hrs. to 18:00 hrs.
